DV |
720 x 480 |
Standard television 4:3 aspect ratio in Digital Video format. Launched in 1995, it has since become a standard for home and semi-professional video production. The DV specification defines both the codec and the tape format. Features include intraframe compression for uncomplicated editing and good video quality, especially compared to earlier consumer analog formats such as Video8, Hi8 and VHS-C.

720 HD |
1080 x 720 |

1080 HD |
1920 x 1080 |

|
2K |
2048 x 1024 |
True anamorphic 2 to 1 (2:1) cinematic digital content. 2K is shorter than HD - but wider. When using a 2K file in a 1080 HD project, simply enlarge the 2K clip by 6% to eliminate the letter box at the top and bottom and "pan and scan" when cropping off the sides. This provides you increased flexibility in producing your project. Compare 2K to 1080 HD
Digitally mastered 2K green screen footage available from GlamourKey is "pre-keyed" or "keyed-out." This footage is provided as an animated .mov with an embedded straight alpha channel. It is available for purchase and download.
